MONTANA URGENT!!! PLEASE POST EVEN IF YOU ARE HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY! Extremely URGENT!!

From Anna:
I have been working on saving Snowball since December of 2009 and now she faces death again. Thank you so very much, anna

Dearest Rescue Friends:
It is with a heavy heart that I appeal to you once again to help save Snowball. You may remember her story and plea in December of 2009. I thanked and responded to as many as I could before my hard drive crashed. For those I did not respond to, please accept my apologies...I was unable to recover your E-Mails. Fortunately, we were successful in finding a wonderful family home for Snowball with a young daughter named "T". Snowball lived on a family farm with horses, sheep, birds, cats and other dogs. As time progressed Snowball began to form an incredible bond with the daughter "T". Snowball decided that "T" was to be her forever love and soon did not want any of the other dogs to have contact with "T". Hearts broken, Snowball had to find a new home. Snowball went to a Foster Home where she did great until the bond began to form. Once again, she became protective and did not want the other dogs to have contact with her Foster Mom. Now Snowball is back in a kennel and not doing well. Snowball has until the end of February to find a new rescue or home or she faces death once again! Snowball did great as a family in-home dog. All she wants is to be is an ONLY DOG. Below are photos of Snowball and her love "T". Her original story follows. Can you please save Snowball before she loses her life the end of February? Thank you once again for your care and compassion and for all the lives you are saving. anna (Rescue Volunteer in Montana)

ORIGINAL STORY - URGENT!!! SNOWBALL - Sweet Pit Dalmation Shot In the Head Because of Criminal Owner. Faces A Certain Death After February!!!!
Snowball is a wonderful 80 lb., 3 year old, spayed, current on vaccinations, Dalmatian/Pit Bull Mix. She's been at a Montana shelter since March '09 on police hold. After her owner went to jail, the court threatened to have her euthanized if she was returned to her owner, so she has been sequestered at the shelter. Snowball is the victim of an owner with a long criminal history. The police shot her in the head during an altercation with her owner. Her owner was yelling at policemen in his yard and Snowball simply growled. She survived the shooting without any negative impacts.

Snowball has never bitten anyone! Never been picked up stray. Never been involved in an altercation with any other human. She has always behaved well, even under dire circumstances. The Court ordered the defendant to send her to rescue or adopt her out in a Montana county not bordering Flathead, or in Flathead County. This excludes a large area, including Lincoln, Lake, and Sanders Counties in Montana.
Snowball is a love of a dog and has an adorable obsession with her green and white basketball.
She would absolutely excell in agility.
We desperately are hoping and praying for a RESCUE COMMITMENT by December 8th. We are begging for a rescue to help us save Snowball's life. NOTE: SNOWBALL NOW HAS UNTIL THE END OF FEBRUARY TO SURVIVE!
She is a great dog who has suffered terribly and survived! She languished in a shelter for 10 months, and still kept her sweet smile and wonderful spirit. She should have a chance to know love.
Snowball is a beautiful young and loving dog that deserves to live.
PLEASE HELP SNOWBALL!
