Poor Xena... Not only did she lose her home, but she lost her best friend as well. Both dogs were surrendered by their owners but the male could not withstand shelter stress. Xena is doing her very best to hang in there but she is very heartbroken. Lonely, scared and sad, she is hoping with all her heart that someone will give her a chance.
We are so full... We don't know how much longer we will be able to keep her, especially considering that nobody has even noticed her so far. Keeping her at the shelter only means that other dogs have to give their life to make room. New unwanted pets arrive "everyday". We cant say no... We have to make room.... When all cages are full, we have no choice but to euthanize to make room.... We so don't want to do this to Xena but we might be forced to if she continues to be overlooked... This is so sad...
