Subject: pregnant cane corso

I need help. My family took in a female cane corso in Sept. She was severly malnourished. Approximately 16 months old with no former training or vet care. Over the past few months i have trained her, updated all shots and had heartworm test done, which came back negative.

Unfortunately i did not approve it with our landlord and did not think it would be an issue as we have 3 dogs already. Whats one more, right? As it turns out, it is a huge problem and insisted I get rid of her. I offered another pet deposit but she will not budge. I have asked everyone i know to keep her until my lease is up at the end of june. Our last trip to the vet revealed she is about 32 days pregnant as a result of my
male that got to her one time before i could get out to them. Also she picked up kennel cough from the trip to the vets office a week prior and developed a secondary infection, which naturally i had her treated for. It was also discovered she may need surgery on a hind leg.

She does great with male dogs. Not sure about females. Showed no signs of aggression with other animals or people when we go to the vets office.

After all of this, i still dont want to give her up but feel as if I'm left with no other option. I refuse to take her to a kill shelter and all no kills in upstate SC aren't accepting. I just want her to have a great life that she deserves. We are in Greenville SC. If anyone can help, please email me back ASAP. I'm already past the deadline the landlord had set.
